Inspired by the Gucci collection, these corn fritters have been a wonderful discovery. Ideal to be served with an aperitif, or to entertain guests while waiting for dinner to be ready, they go divinely with a glass of sparkling wine and a terrace dominated by the sun. Quickly prepare the mixture and then, with the help of two spoons, shape small fritters to be fried in hot vegetable oil. Keep several slices of lime at hand for this exotic recipe. Recipe. 4 PEOPLE

350 g (12 oz) canned corn (drained weight: 250 g/ 9 oz) + 90 g (3 oz) flour + wild fennel + 1 tablespoon baking powder + 1 egg + 1 tablespoon melted butter + 1 tablespoon cumin + salt + 3 tablespoons milk + Seed oil for frying.

In a bowl, combine the corn, flour, baking powder, egg, melted butter, cumin, fennel and stir. Add 3 tablespoons milk and stir until mixture is smooth. With the help of two spoons, take a little dough at a time and fry in plenty of hot vegetable oil. Fry until golden brown, remove the fritters, add a little cumin and salt, then sprinkle with fresh lime. Serve hot.
