She has a big smile on her face, she is Neapolitan by birth and a student of fashion business at the Istituto Marangoni. Patricia has lived in Milan for about two years and, with the help of her boyfriend Giotto, she founded the fashion blog theatelier.me. She entered the Taste of Runway’s living room full of enthusiasm and accompanied by the wonderful Hogan team to tell me about her new adventure. “Hogan Busy Beautiful” is the new project that describes the Hogan women collection through seven protagonists who interpret the outfits and shoes of the brand. And Patricia is one of them. I asked her some questions, read her answers.
In this world, it takes creativity, a bit of luck, the right look and comfortable shoes. Do you agree?
This is exactly the spirit of “Hogan Busy Beautiful”, to provide a look suitable for any occasion for someone who, like me, runs all day in the city dividing her time between school, business meetings and events. For this reason a denim look it’s perfect for me.
So a woman can always be busy with many things without giving up her style?
Sure. As the days pass quickly, the Hogan “Busy Beautiful” woman is unstoppable and is ready to face each moment full of energy and glamor. Without giving up her dreams, her style and her comfort.
What does it mean for you to be “Busy Beautiful”?
Always feeling with a perfect look by balancing style, minimalism and femininity through the Hogan accessories. Today I’m wearing “Traditional“, an icon shoes of the brand reinterpreted in a contemporary way, in cotton canvas and with a rubber sole. It’s just super comfortable, and it’s perfect for any occasion.
How important is a handbag in a woman’s life?
I’d say it’s crucial! Big or small, the important thing is that it can contain the most essential things, my “life-savers”. For today’s look I chose the Mini-Hobo. Compact, but with a deep soul.
Do you like cooking?
Actually, I prefer eating. I don’t cook very often just because I am surrounded by people who cook divinely. I taste all kind of food and I like everything, absolutely everything! And I am willing to spend a lot of money for a good restaurant.
Your favourite dish?
I know it sounds trivial, but it’s pasta with tomato sauce. I just love it.
Do you lick you plate clean or not?
What color is your soul?
Thanks Patricia for spending this pleasant time together. Now it’s time for me to cook you. I prepared delicious egg tagliatelle with saffron and asparagus. We just have to sit at the table. May the appetite be with you!
Recipe. FOR 4 PEOPLE
400 g (14 oz) fresh egg tagliatelle + 200 g (7 oz) white asparagus + half white onion + 1 teaspoon of saffron + 50 ml (1.7 fl oz) cream + olive oil + water + salt + pepper + grated Parmesan cheese to serve.
Peel the asparagus to eliminate the hardest part. Wash them and cut the most tender part into pieces of about 1 cm (0.4 in). In a saucepan sauté the half white onion, add the asparagus, a drizzle of oil, half a cup of water and cook for 20 minutes or until they soften. In a pan, pour the cream, add a little water and add the saffron powder. Mix well and set aside. Cook the fresh tagliatelle in salted water, drain it al dente and then pour into the pan with the sauce of cream and saffron. Stir well, then add the cooked asparagus and sprinkle with plenty of grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
