Digital manager for the Alberta Ferretti and Lovers’ group together with Alessia and Vicky from the blog “We Are Lovers“, Lucia Serafini is a volcano of passion and enthusiasm.
I met her a little over a year ago, and from the first moment we established a wonderful relationship made of fine talk and many considerations.
I want to pay special attention to her because she was the second person to convince me that the new “Taste of People” section would be the right development for Taste of Runway. I remember her question almost as if it were today. During a party night, in the most romantic area of Milan (Brera) she asked me: “So, when are you going to cook us all?”. Her words made me realize that this was really the right path to follow. After resting my head for a while, I equipped myself with a photographic white backdrop, some white studio lights, and a new adventure begun: cooking recipes inspired by the look of friends.
Lucia is a wonderful soul, full of passion. I love her because she is true, and heaven only knows how rare this quality is today. I invited her into the living room of Taste of Runway, we prepared a hot tea with some biscuits, and among other things, I asked her some questions. Here are her answers.
Who are you and what do you do?
I am the digital manager of Alberta Ferretti and Lovers of “We Are Lovers“
What is your great quality?
I love listening to people.
What is your favorite food?
I love eggs in all forms, vegetable flan with gorgonzola cheese cream and tiramisu. From a junk food point of view, I love French fries anytime, anywhere.
Your favorite look?
Wide legs pants and unbuttoned shirt. I really like men style, but chic.
Your favorite colors?
Midnight blue and white. Everything tone on tone.
What color is your soul?
Sea blue. But with many nuances.
I asked you to bring some object you love particularly. Tell me something.
Hydra Sparklin by Givenchy, a facial moisturizer that just makes me feel good. My favorite Yves Saint Laurent lipstick and L’eau d’Issey by Issey Miyake, a fresh fragrance that smells of water and flowers.
My favorite books. Zerocalcare comics, “The Orange Girl” that is about the love for an unknown person with many reflections on the meaning of existence. “The Farewell Waltz” by Kundera, a very theatrical novel that takes place over a period of just five days. Finally, “Full of Life” by John Fante, a hilarious tale made of small mishaps and quarrels, between tears and smiles, mystical crisis and wine glasses.
A small paint found at a flea market from which I never separate. “Stairway to heaven”. Who knows who it belonged to.
My hat to keep all my thoughts warm.
The GoPro camera, which I take on all my trips.
My Miu Miu purse.
Thank you Lucy! Now it’s time to cook you. Your look did not give me any choice, you are a whirlwind of sweetness and calories to be eaten strictly in the company of your loved one.
Do you want to cook with me?
Recipe. FOR 8/10 PEOPLE
6 fresh, organic eggs+ 100 g (3.5 oz) brown sugar + 500 g (17.5 oz) mascarpone + 400 g (14 oz) Savoiardi biscuits + fashion coffee + cocoa powder + 1 cereal chocolate bar, hard.
Divide the yolks from the whites. In a bowl put the egg yolks, half of the sugar and whip with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth. Add the mascarpone, stir and set aside. In another bowl, whip the egg whites with the other half of the sugar with an electric mixer, until stiff. Add them gently to the yolks and mix well, stirring with a spoon from the bottom up so as not to deflate the egg whites. Soak the Savoiardi biscuits in coffee and arrange them into small glasses, alternating with the cream previously obtained. Sprinkle with cocoa powder on the surface and grate a bit of cereal chocolate on top. Put in the fridge to rest for at least a couple of hours. Yummy!
