Taste of Runway presents: Hermes - pyramid of cheese with honey, mustard and jam

In my opinion, few people know Hermès fashion outfits, and this happens because there are some products that throughout history have become the symbol of the maison, and it is thanks to them that the name of Hermes is kept alive. In this specific case, I’m talking of Kelly and Birkin handbags and Hermès foulards, which take their name from, respectively, Grace Kelly and Jane Birkin. Just for you to know that if you have at least $ 5,000 and want to buy a Birkin bag, it is better that you hide that money under the mattress, because there’s a waiting list (and it could take even two years to buy a bag).  You see, it’s not always true that with money you can “get everything and now”.  A part from the cult Hermes items, there is undoubtedly a tribute to sportin the Fall / Winter collection. The look and these graphic elements remind me so much the golden years of Cortina d’Ampezzo, where beautiful women used to stand on the snow in their perfect dresses. And when you’re in the mountains, what tastes better than a good glass of red wine accompanied by a variety of cheeses? If these cheeses reflect the pattern used in the Hermés collection, the taste becomes much more interesting and climbing becomes more fun. For the composition “Hermés print” I’ve used a variety of cheeses: there’s something to suit everybody’s fancy, from the most refined palates to the most determined ones.  But as for the look, tastes may be similar for everybody: that beautiful outfit would look good to anyone on the snow. Looking forward to your Birkin bag, I wish you a nice cheese climbing! If the Birkin bag is out of the question, drink a lot of wine… and you’ll forget! Anyway will be a good year!

Recipe. FOR 4 PEOPLE

200g (7 oz) Asiago + 200g (7 oz) Brie + 200g (7 oz) smoked braided cheese + 200g (7 oz) sweet caciotta + 100g (3.5 oz) scamorza + 100g (3.5 oz) Emmenthal + 2 tomini.

Cut the cheese carefully into pieces, trying to keep a certain “harmony” in the shapes. Open a bottle of good aged red wine and serve with honey, mustard and jam.

  3. non sono un genio in cucina ma chiunque tu sia per inventare e cucinare queste ricette devi essere assolutamente geniale!!!!!!

  4. se dovessi scegliere tra il look e la ricetta sarei molto in difficoltà.. forse mi converrebbe scegliere hermes (se fosse un regalo). comunque è geniale tutto questo.
